The 14th International Biotechnology Symposium will take in Rimini, Italy on 14-18 September 2010, to explore the frontiers and applications of biotechnology for a healthier, more sustainable future and a knowledge-based bioeconomy. 

The EBE is organising a Regulatory Training Seminar on Scientific Advice, wich will be held in Brussels at the Renaissance Hotel, on 16 September 2010.A successful marketing authorization application for a new product may be jeopardized if the regulators challenge key aspects of the development programme. Scientific advice provides an opportunity to discuss key aspects of the plan with the regulators and an EMA study has revealed that companies that apply scientific advice are more likely to be successful in obtaining a marketing authorization.
