Public Affairs
The EBE Public Affairs Committee is active in building and communicating common industry positions which promote a favorable scientific, business and regulatory environment for the research-based biopharmaceutical industry operating in Europe.
The Public Affairs Committee is now actively working on developing policies and positions on the following topics:
- Pharmaceutical package
- Access to finance
- Personalised Medicines
- Benefit-Risk Balance
- Biosimilars
- EU's Competitiveness and Innovation Programme for 2007-2013 (link to page)
- Handling of biobanks
- Organisation of policy forums
- Release of background papers and other information tools to educate various stakeholders about the contribution of the biopharmaceutical sector. (link to page “publications”… which is already the case)
